The process

Beyond hiring a photographer

What actually arrives, and when. The photographs are half of it; the other half is a system the organization keeps using after the residency ends.

Before

One page settles the engagement: dates, deliverables, terms in plain words. The plan lives at its own address and updates as things move, so everyone on the client's team reads the same current truth.

On site

Days and nights. The early mornings and the hours after lights-out are where a place shows what it is, so the residency covers both ends of the clock.

Where a camp has its own media team, they shoot alongside and the training rides free.

Within two weeks

The library arrives organized by what each image is for, not the order it was shot, in two sizes: full resolution for print, web for screens. Every frame carries the largest honest print size on each material, in sizes you can order without a custom cut.

After

The guide stays. Books design here and print through the lab. Prints become donor gifts. And the library keeps answering requests years after the shoot, because it was organized to be used, not stored.
