Services
Every engagement on the services page, in full: what it is for, what arrives, what it costs.
The residency $6,500. The focused day $1,500. What each includes.
Every engagement starts with one question: how do you want people to feel when they look at these photos? Not this or that program or activity. Most of what I capture is in between. Before the shoot we settle what the images need to do and what you already have. I make what is missing. The delivery comes back organized by use. On residencies, your media team gets a working session and a field guide. Selected sequences become campaign collections, donor books, calendars, fine-art prints, and gifts.
I work with organizations and individuals whose work depends on being seen and felt.
Different starting points. Delivered the same way.
After the photographs, the work most institutions ask for next.
Daily capture that adds up: coverage priorities set with leadership, a workable model for staff, training, reviews across the season, and the visual system run for you.
I work with whoever runs your channels, by the hour, to make the photographs do their work on a date. For a December ask, that means an eight-week run-up planned to the day: which frames, in what order, what each post says and when it goes. Every comment answered, and how. Engagement tracked week by week, and every reply, share and tag followed up by a person before the ask lands. Your team runs it; I plan it and check in weekly. $250 an hour; a run-up is usually ten to fifteen hours across eight weeks.
The store. Prints of the released frames on archival paper, by the lab that prints my books, shipped to the buyer's door. Families and alumni order from your page. Sample prices to the buyer: 16x20 $250, 20x30 $450, 24x36 $700; limited editions, 16x20 to 30x45, $450 to $1,500; framing at the lab's cost, quoted first. Prices include shipping in the US. A share of every sale goes to you, set in the agreement and paid quarterly with the list of what sold, at no cost to you. I proof every print before it ships; one that arrives wrong is replaced.
The books, sold. Either book layout can be ordered from your page the same way: the lab prints and ships each copy, and a share of every sale goes to you, set in the agreement.
Framed limited editions. Set up for your auction platform, or as an independent auction. Priced by size. Pieces are usually 24 by 36 inch prints, and larger sizes have sold for $1,000 and more across three camps.
Stewardship gifts. A Shabbat box, a s'mores kit, the photographs inside, assembled as kits for your development team to hand-deliver; quoted per kit. Just doing thank-yous is huge motivation for a development team.
The store: no cost; a share of every sale to you.
The books: copies at press cost, shipping at cost; sales from your page, a share to you.
The media team, run as a system: quoted with the season.
Framed limited editions: by size.
The whole library, curated: $2,500 to $4,500.
Stewardship gifts: quoted per kit.
Consultation: $250 an hour.
Prices are complete except travel and printing, billed at cost. Anything beyond them is agreed in writing before work begins. Retouching and print preparation, when a use calls for them, are quoted per frame before work begins.
A good photograph holds its value because nothing about it ages. It prints at its largest honest size in any year and needs no player and no format.
It creates value because it gets used, and every use after the first costs nothing. One frame carries the donor book and the annual report, and the same library fills the enrollment page and the lobby wall. Organized by what each image is for, one week of photographs becomes years of material.
Some of that value has a price on it. A donor album reached more than two hundred donors, and a national Shabbat box carried the photographs into homes across four cities. When a camp shared its night photographs, a parent asked to print and frame one for her kid. Some of it becomes art the moment the institution decides it is: a print in the guest room, a book on the shelf.
For facilitators, leaders, and individuals: one session, $1,600, on its own page.
Tell me about your work and your site. I will tell you where the gap is and the smallest sensible next step.
I ran camps for about twenty years before I photographed them. Ranch Camp in Denver, Tel Yehudah, CYJ in the Midwest. I bring that up because the seeing is the hard part of this, not the camera.
